MailLand

For SaaS teams

All the email your SaaS sends, from one account

Sign-up confirmations, password resets, usage alerts, invoices and product news. Send each one from the right stream, feed delivery events back into your app, and give your team access with roles, SSO and an audit log.

Two streams, kept apart in your account

Transactional and marketing mail use different keys, different rate limits on each plan and different suppression scopes: an unsubscribe from your newsletter suppresses marketing mail, not password resets. Both streams send from MailLand's shared IP addresses today.

Key prefixes
ml_pet_ for transactional, ml_pem_ for marketing

Delivery events back into your app

Show users and support staff what happened to an email, and act on it automatically.

  • The events that matter

Subscribe to delivered, deferred, bounced, failed and complained events, filtered by product and by sending domain.

  • Signed and verifiable

Every request carries an HMAC-SHA256 signature with a timestamp in the X-MLND-Signature header, and a unique event ID for deduplication.

  • Retried, then paused

A failed webhook delivery is attempted up to six times in total, over about 80 minutes by default. After 10 consecutive failed attempts the webhook is paused and you get an in-app notification, instead of a silent failure.

  • Delivery history

Inspect each webhook delivery, retry one by hand, and send a test event to check your endpoint.

What teams do with them

  • Mark an address as invalid in your database when it bounces.
  • Show the delivery status of a message in your support tool.
  • Stop product notifications to a user who reported spam.

Access control for your team

  • Roles

Owner, Admin, Member and Viewer. Only Owners and Admins can invite people, change roles or delete keys, domains and webhooks.

  • Single sign-on on every plan

Sign in with Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta or any OpenID Connect provider, including on the Free plan. SAML is not supported yet.

  • Two-factor authentication

Authenticator-app codes with backup codes, for every user.

  • Audit log

See who changed what and when, search the history, and export it as CSV or JSON.

Hosted in the EU

MailLand's servers run at Hetzner in Germany, mainly in Nuremberg, and an encrypted backup copy is kept in Warsaw, Poland. A few sub-processors, such as Cloudflare and Stripe, may process limited data outside the EU under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. The DPA lists each one.

Questions from SaaS teams

How do we keep tests away from real users?

Use a sandbox key in development and staging. It accepts and records each request without delivering it, or delivers only to an allow-list of addresses you choose.

Do you support SAML?

Not yet. Single sign-on works with Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta and any OpenID Connect provider, on every plan.

Will a newsletter unsubscribe block our password resets?

No. An unsubscribe applies to one list or to all marketing mail, and does not suppress transactional mail to that address. Hard bounces and spam complaints are different: they suppress all mail to the address.

We run two products. One account or two?

If they are separate businesses, use two accounts. Each account has its own billing, suppression list and sending limits, while workspaces inside one account only organise resources.

How many team members can we add?

Up to 10 on the Free and Pro plans, and no limit on Max.
