Marketing email
Campaigns and automations on the same platform as your product email
Import subscribers, segment them by profile, engagement and dates, send or schedule campaigns and run triggered sequences. Unsubscribes, bounces and complaints are handled for you, in the panel and through the API.
Lists, subscribers and segments
Keep subscribers in one place and choose who receives each campaign.
Lists
Organise subscribers into lists, import them from CSV and export them whenever you need to.
Subscriber fields
Store first name, last name, company, birthday and your own custom fields, and use any of them to personalize a message.
Segments
Combine conditions on name, company, source, status, engagement counts and dates with AND or OR, preview who matches, and see the count before you send.
Campaigns you stay in control of
Schedule, pause, resume or cancel a campaign while it runs. Messages already sent stay sent.
Write once, personalize per subscriber
Write HTML with a plain-text fallback and preview text, or start from a stored template. Personalize with tags such as {{firstName}} or any custom field.
Send now or later
Send a campaign immediately or schedule it. Pause it while it sends, resume it, or cancel it.
Duplicate and archive
Duplicate a campaign to reuse its content, follow its progress while it sends, and archive it when it is done.
Opens and clicks
With tracking turned on, see opens and clicks for each campaign, down to which links were clicked.
Automations that run on their own
Each automation starts from one trigger and follows the steps you define.
Triggers
- A subscriber joins a list
- A subscriber's profile is updated
- A subscriber opens a campaign
- A subscriber clicks a link in a campaign
- A subscriber's birthday
- A call from your own system through the API
Steps
- Send an email
- Wait for a set time
- Continue only if a subscriber field matches
- Add to or remove from a list
- Update subscriber fields
- Call a webhook in your system
Pause an automation and subscribers already in it hold where they are. Activate it again and they continue from that point.
Unsubscribes and suppressions handled for you
One-click unsubscribe
Marketing email carries List-Unsubscribe headers with RFC 8058 one-click support and a mailto alternative, as large mailbox providers ask of bulk senders.
Suppression list
Unsubscribes, hard bounces and complaints go on your suppression list, and future campaigns skip those addresses.
Scoped unsubscribes
An unsubscribe can apply to one list or to all marketing mail. Marketing unsubscribes do not suppress transactional mail such as password resets.
Your sign-up, your consent
MailLand has no double opt-in flow today. Collect and confirm consent in your own sign-up form before you add a subscriber.
More marketing features are in development.
See what is on the roadmapQuestions about marketing email
Can I import my existing subscribers?
Yes. Import a CSV file into a list from the panel or through the API, including names, birthdays and custom fields. You can export subscribers at any time.
Do you support double opt-in?
Not today. Confirm consent in your own sign-up flow before adding a subscriber, and keep a record of it.
How do I design a campaign?
Write your own HTML, with a plain-text fallback, or start from a stored template. Planned editing features are listed on the roadmap.
What happens when someone unsubscribes?
The address goes on your suppression list for that list or for all marketing mail, and later campaigns skip it. Marketing unsubscribes do not suppress transactional mail to the same address.
What can start an automation?
Joining a list, a profile update, opening or clicking a campaign, a subscriber's birthday, or an API call from your own system.
Can I manage everything through the API?
Yes. Lists, subscribers, segments, campaigns and automations all have REST endpoints, documented with copy-paste examples in curl, JavaScript, Python, PHP, C#, Java and Go.
